Prior to joining University of Allahabad, I worked at several research institutes, viz., Max Plank Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tuebingen, Germany, Emory University, Atlanta, USA and ATR Labs, Kyoto, Japan. I have done my PhD in Computer Science from University of Hyderabad, India. At all these institutes, I have worked on application of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) technique to understand different cognitive processes. My current research includes cognitive and computational neuroscience aspects of decision making, sequence learning and spatial navigation in built-environments.
