Current Research My current work investigates language-cognition interface from a multi-modal perspective i.e. the interaction of language with vision and the attentional systems. I generally use tracking of eye movements to understand these mechanisms in different populations such as bilinguals and illiterates. Please see the 'research' page below for more information. Research areas Multimodal aspects of language processing, Interaction of language with attentional systems, Cognition in illiterates, Oculomotor control, Visuo-Spatial attention,Speech-language disorders Public outreachI will be very happy to share my research with agencies, schools and NGOs, those who are working in the area of illiteracy or bilingual education. This can be in the form of giving a talk to a small group.
