Eye Tracking

We use eye tracking to understand different aspects of language processing. Few current themes are,

- Spoken word processing

- Bilingual oculomotor control

- Bilingual lexical organization

- Scene perception

-language processing in illiterates

What eye tracking reveals….

Eye movements indicate a direct measure of overt visual attention. Fixations and saccades  reveal different aspects of cognitive processing. This is a non non invasive and natural approach to study cognition. Eye movement data provide very fine grained measures of cognitive processing in different tasks.
